Forgotten combination?
Let’s save your safe.

Careful, non-destructive safe opening.
A passion for preserving antique safes.

Passion over profit

I’m not a professional locksmith. I’m a hobbyist with a passion for saving safes, especially antique safes, from unnecessary drilling or damage. I do this for the challenge and the satisfaction of preserving them, so I don’t charge an opening fee. Donations to help cover expenses are welcome, but never required.

They say, “If something is free, you are the product.” Well, there’s a little truth to that here! You get your safe opened, and I get a puzzle I love solving, a chance to work on a lock I may never have encountered before, and another safe to add to my opening portfolio. Best of all, I get the satisfaction of helping an old safe stay useful for another generation. So yes, you’re the product. But your safe gets a pretty good deal!

A PASSION FOR PRESERVATION

A forgotten combination shouldn’t be the end of its story.

Your safe may have protected a family’s belongings or a business’s records for generations. The combination might be missing, but the craftsmanship and history are still there. Before you have it drilled, give it a chance to be opened intact.

I’m Rick, That Safecracker Guy. I’m a hobbyist with a passion for antique safes and the challenge of recovering forgotten combinations. To me, an old safe is more than a locked box. It’s something worth understanding and preserving.

I work patiently, without drilling or destructive shortcuts. If I can’t open your safe without causing damage, I stop. You stay in control of what happens next.

These methods take time, so I’m not an emergency lockout service. But if keeping your safe intact matters to you, send me a photo. Let’s explore the possibilities before making a permanent change.
